AOL, in theory, has open-access to the instant messaging service today, but just under terms that they dictate. Perhaps the FCC will engender AOL to create terms that are more amenable to competitors, accessing the instant messaging system.
It applies to Red Hat distributions only. It will attract those who want Red Hat as their primary service and support vendor. In the data center, however, it may not be that attractive for exclusive open-source software stacks vs. hybrid commercial and open-source software stacks.

Service demand would definitely go up if something major were to happen here. You can't staff for all emergencies, that's why there's mutual aid from other counties and areas. That's why there's volunteers.
